I picked up this Rem Line roller box from my great uncle. It belonged to his son who was an auto mechanic. Anyone familiar with this brand? I'd say it's probably 50 years old at least. It's in good shape, just needs a good cleaning and new casters.

The nice thing was it came loaded with lots of nice tools! Got some vintage snap-on out of the deal.....

I had a roller similar to that one in the late 70's. I traded it to the truck guy because I just had to have a Snappy. K kinda wish now I'd have just kept it. I love those old boxes.

I don't seem to have a pic handy but I have the roll cab, mid box and chest. FYI that behind the AMDC/Remline badge, you'll find the date stamp inside the drawer. The last pic in this link will show you what it looks like.

They are quality box!! I bought mine used out of a snap on truck over 30 years ago. (Someone traded it in earlier in the day). I still have and use mine.

If you give it some TLC, lube the slides with bees Wax. It works great, and don't attract dirt. It is what snap on sold to lube drawers before everything went roller.

Thanks, looks like it was built in 1967, so it's the same age as me! I have a nice Homak roller next to this one, but the RemLine has "character" not found in the newer box!

Great score . . . those RemLine boxes are keepers for sure.

Clean up and post your PICs in the Show Your RemLine thread for perpetuity !!

Someday your kid will be on GJ decades from now & see the box that dad gave him !!
