Remote Power Switch for Compressor

I have a 20 gal 4.5peak HP Campbell Hausfeld compressor and it has an integrated, proprietary power switch/regulator (the one pictured is not mine). I am planning to add a remote power switch to disconnect the power when not in the shop. All on 120V.

Any concerns if leave the power switch on the compressor on all the time, and disconnect the power from the remote switch? I know the integrated switch/regulator releases the pressure from the head after filling, so I will not shut off the power while it's running, until it's done filling.

Just wondering about the integrated switch...I know it will be what controls the compressor cycling on/off when I've switched the main power on, but turning the switch on will be an inrush of power. Am I over thinking it?
