I am talking really remote here, say up to 300 feet away with concrete floors between the monitoring point and appliance location. I have looked in Grainger's, but I cannot make sense of what goes where and what plugs in to what....

I would like to monitor the inside temps of coolers/refrigerators located 50 - 300 ft away from my office. Anything wireless or wired available, that will do this function without breaking the bank ? Thanks

I have been thinking about something like this to monitor my chest freezer, preferably with alarm function for out of temp range. I only need to go about 30' in standard wood frame residential. Any tips would be great.

Most commercial style thermostats have an option for a remote sensor. Some are wired, some are wireless.

We use them all the time in offices, restaurants, education buildings, etc. Anywhere you want to measure temperature, but don't want the direct occupants to have control of the HVAC system.

I would be interested in this as well. Would like to remotely monitor my detached garage refrigerator temp and my safe humidity. Surely there is something out there that is reasonably priced?

I think wink has a new sensor that you have temp and humidity combined.
