Does anyone make a thermostat that will control the heat in my shop from my house so I can turn up the heat before I go out there?

I've seen the smart thermostats but don't want to spend that much $$$.

I had a heated shop 150' from the house when I lived in the country several years back with my Ex. I had 2 thermostats wired up, one that would maintain 40deg and the other was set to 70. the first stat was the low temp and it was wired to maintain the shop @ 40, the second stat (usually set to 70deg) was wired (parallel to first stat) to a switch in the attached garage( house ) that would turn heat on when I flipped the switch and raise the temp to 70.

The company was founded by a former Apple engineer. It's a thermostat that you can control using your smart phone. It also learns your daily routine.

Honeywell makes a system as well. Check at Pexsupply. It allows 4 thermostats and remote monitoring and control via smartphone if you are so inclined. It will also send you info from an outdoor weather station.
