I’ve had this mag drill for over 10 years. Back when I bought it I also bought a spare for Parts. I forgot I even had this case until I just found it today in the attic. Is there a way to make this cord where I can unscrew it and put it back on and off, so I can store the drill in its case?

That occurred to me, but I would have to bend the cord a really bad angle. It is already frayed around that edge, which is why I have the clear shrink wrap on there. I wish all tools had removable cords. I hate my cords bent at an angle near the strain relief. In fact, I hate it when people wrap my cords around my tools at all.

Looks like the front comes off where all the buttons are so you could remove the whole cable gland and look for something more low profile. I don't know what size it is from the picture but there are low profile cable glands that would go on there (you would have the measure the hole). You could also go for a cable grommet or drill a hole in a hole blank to feed the cable through and cable tie / tape behind it so the cable wont pull though.

Find a male 3 pin receptacle like a PC power supply. Usually easy to wire and a variety of how much effort your OK with to get the cord out when storing.

I think the PC cord idea might be the best one so far. I have a dozen of those cords laying around plus, they’re easy to find if it ever gets lost. Now I just need somebody to install it for me. I’m a spark when I try to do electrical work…

I use stuff like this pretty regular

There are other manufactures that make smaller units rated for your voltage and current. I've got a few kits in the shop but just don't remember the manufacturer or supplier I bought them from right now. IF needed I can firm that up on Monday when I'm there.
