Very little pressure required. It's a big spinning rubber eraser. No need to press hard. Works better than heat or any chemical I tried. And I have lots of chemicals. I lost paint on one door trying the chemical approach. I also lost paint using the heat approach. And heating stickers also leaves goo that even Goo Gone/Goof Off/etc won't dent. With the eraser - comes right off.

>Goof Off from any big box store--cleans up almost anything...
Almost is right. Anything - not so much.

I guess they've improved those erasers. Last time I used one was at least 20 years ago & it required pretty good elbow grease to remove pinstripes down to bare paint.

I won't use Goof Off anymore. It can be VERY aggressive. I've had it damage plastic trim. It's listed as being good for removing dried latex paint. I tried it for that and it partially melted a window frame. Now it's naphtha for me...

Make a copy to place over old. Don't risk heating glass or impacting with power tools
Eventually it will break. I would try to contact a pro restorer. They will be happy to
Help,I,m sure.
I would imagine that "decal" is baked on and as close to part of that glass as it can get.
Just sayin

I have a die cut decal on the way. It will fit right over it.

positioning is key here
.020 off and it will look like poop.
I use clear transfer tape and position first
hinge it back away from the work area
remove backing and carefully squeegee out
