I tore the carpet up that was on the floor in my garage... Ok, it was on my screen porch. But I cant seem to get up the residue from the glue and it looks terrible. Any ideas?

Bean-e-doo. You can get it from Amazon or Franmar Chemical. It works awesome at removing old mastic.

Depends on what type mastic. Soy based products work great on asphaltic base mastics and a few vinyl based mastics but will not have any affect on some of the yellow rubber looking mastics. razor scraping is your best bet. You may also check with a local rental company for a floor buffer and "scrap-a-way" disc.
