Removing Concrete Splatter

Hi All,

Bought a property that had an existing detached 24' X 36' 4-car garage. The interior was unfinished at the time of purchase, and I subsequently had heating added (propane furnace) insulation, drywall/texture, and paint. Now, I'm turning attention to the foundation walls - which is why I'm posting.

The foundation was formed and poured first, followed by the slab. During the pour for the slab, not much care was taken in regards to avoiding/cleaning excess concrete off of the foundation walls (see photo). I want to paint the foundation walls, but want to remove the splatter from the walls before I do that. I did use an angle grinder to clean an 8' area where my workbench will ****-up against. I first sprayed the area down with water to keep the dust to a minimum, but it was slow going, and there was still some dust.

I'm turning to this forum to get advice from those that have been down this road before. How to remove the splatter?

Thank you in advance!

EJ

I have the grinding wheel that is meant for concrete on a grinder that makes short work of removing the splatter
