Removing epoxy and high gloss urethane without grinding concrete?

Hello All -

First time poster, long time watcher.. I have a brand new garage floor that WAS really beautiful.. I densified it, and then went with Ghostshield 325 epoxy, and their 645 high gloss urethane for the top coat... Product seemed good - but I had a problem between the two. I guess we didn't get the urethane on top of the epoxy fast enough for them to harden together, as about 20 hours passed between the two. The company is now saying that the 1st and 2nd step didn't bond together, and I need to remove the top shiny coats and start again. What's the best way to remove those two coats without grinding the cement underneath? The cement itself was finished beautifully - just the coatings are now peeling off in sections. So frustrated to have to bust my *** and start over.

Any advice in getting this off, and is that the best high gloss coating for densified concrete?

Thank you so much.

20 hours in winter in NY doesn’t sound excessive.

What’s peeling? The epoxy from the concrete? The urethane from the epoxy?

Just curious. What did you do for prepping prior to coating?

Can you provide pics?
