I have a couple of KRL boxes I'm going to put new locks on. I know how to get the locks off with the key, but one of the boxes doesn't have a key. Any way to get it out without having to drill it? Thx

Pick the lock? What sort of lock is it? Tubular, pin tumbler, wafer?

This. Look on YouTube for how to videos if you don't know how. Online videos and a lot of patience/practice is how I learned.

Luckily the box is not locked, so it doesn't need to be picked

If the box is unlocked and you have no key you will have to remove the top drawer and remove the whole lock cylinder from the inside not just the lock plug like you'd do with the key. It will be retained to the box by either a threaded retaining nut or a big C clip and must be disconnected from the locking rods that operate the internal lock bars. It's not a big deal just kind of a contortionist act working blind inside the box. I've changed several entire lock cylinders on SO boxes, one with the key broken off in it and the rest with no key and even a couple for my Snap On dealer as a favor.

Dumb question. Why not just order the key for $5 and save yourself the trouble?
Not a dumb question at all, I figure the OP bought the box used and wants a change of locks or to key it alike with existing boxes he has.

There's a video on YouTube that a dealer made that shows you exactly how to remove it. But you have to have the key.

I've recently changed two cylinders in my KRL and locker to the same lock (so I can lock/unlock with one key) and I didn't even use a key. There's a nut on the back and a clip that slides (with some mild persuasion) and the lock pops right off. Didn't need a key, didn't use a key. Let me know if you want some close up pictures to help you see what they look like when installed?

Unfortunately, a key is still required to remove the lock plug from the lock cylinder assembly, even removed from the box. Either you will have to have an entire new cylinder and lock plug assembly with new keys (which they offer) or if you have the 4 digit alphanumeric key code you can order keys for your existing lock if you can prove ownership. Then you can switch over to your keyed alike lock plugs. Hope this makes sense.
