Contrary to what i had read here prior to using VCT tile, tires WILL stain the white tiles. My tires are reproduction bias-ply type tires, som aybe that makes some difference in the way they stain the floor, but in any case, the stains are VERY hard to remove, and seem to actually penetrate deep into the tile, even with 4 coats of Armstrong polish on top... In any case, after trying Simple Green, Orange Citrus cleaners, Magic Erasers, etc. etc... without complete success, I went with a tip someone here gave me and it seems to work pretty good, although it still takes a good amount of effort. The trick? Course steel wool. I tried fine wool first, but to really scrub at the stains, the courser stuff works much better... use a little cleaner to act as a lubricant, (I used Citrus cleaner) and just work in a circular motion until the stain is gone... it doesnt happen immediately, and in fact, it first seems like its not working, but if you keep at it, the stains DO come out. Of course, the polish is removed too, but I've found that its easy to "spot-in" the polish on ust the tiles I scrubbed, and you can't tell they were ever tampered with. I now park my cars on carpet pads to help keep the stains from getting into the tile, but If I ever get any more stains that won't easily come off with normal cleaners, the steel wool trick works great, and doesn't seem to harm the tile, at least not enough that you couldn't do it 100 times without worry. Just wanted to pass along the tip, as I know alot of folks here have VCT, and may have similar staining issues.

Update: I backed out the cars and opened the doors today, and in direct sunlight, you can still see where the tire marks are. I scrubbed some more with the steel wool and cleaner, but it doesn't seem like you can ever get rid of the stains completely. Now to my next question... whats the easiest way to remove individual VCT tiles for replacement? I know they're stuck down VERY good, and would prefer to only remove the stained tiles, but not sure how you'd ever get individual tiles out, short of just taking a cold chisel to them... anyone ever replace any that weren't already falling out?

They're eazy to get up. Get a Mapp or propane torch and heat up the tile until it just starts to turn brown. Then use a scraper/putty knife and pry the bad tile up. Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.

Heat is critical but also score the edges of the tile(s) to be removed with a utility knife before you start the removal process or else you may find adjoining tiles want to lift as well.
