I have this Sears Craftsman rubber mat and got latex paint all over it in different spots. Does anyone know what may remove the paint without ruining the rubber.

I learned, purely by accident, that a cleaning product called Mean Green will remove latex flat paint from baked enamel without harming the enamel finish when sprayed on the latex and followed by pressure washing. Don't know if it will loosen the paint from rubber or not, but at $5/gal at Dollar General stores, it would be worth a try. Works well for cleaning tire sidewalls, and definitely won't harm the rubber.

Depending on the size of your rubber mat, sand blasting usually has little adverse affect on rubber if done carefully, which is why they use rubber tape to protect items from the abrasive when blasting. Clean up is almost nothing.
