I finished my floor last year, but over the last year (of course), I noticed that my car has been leaving some rust spots on the floor. I removed most of them from the winter time, but with he downpour over the weekend, I noticed my car needs some fixing. Anyways... ANY suggestions on how to best remove some rust stains that have been sitting there for awhile? I just shows a little yellowish marks, but I don't want to have a ton, nor do I want to be rinsing my garage every time it rains around here.

I know..... easy solution = NEW CAR..., but I can't do that this year!

Thanks!

I've found a little "Purple Power" cleaner and a nylon deck brush will get ANYTHING off epoxy. Weeks oil dirty oil, enamel paint overspray, spilled latex paint.....

Rust EASILY removed!!!

Just wanted to post an update on the rust stains. I tried several things, but some cleaners did not easily remove all the residue.

All I did was put some baking soda on all the rust stains, then poured some vinegar on the spots, scrubbed with a deck brush, power washed, and GONE!!!! WOW!!! I was amazed how easily the stains went away, I even used this method with some oil spots! BTW... it was the first time since last fall that I cleaned my garage.... after the snow and all, it was way dirty! I finished cleaning with a coat of purple power with my pressure washer, rinsed... and like new again!

Wolverine Coatings = SIMPLY AMAZING!!!

Just wanted to pass the tip along and my experience!!!
