Has anyone tried removing the latest Snap On pliers grips? I want to swap a couple of pairs of grips around on new pliers.

Curious if it's possible because some of the pliers I want don't come in my preferred color, Hi-Viz.Has anyone tried removing the latest Snap On pliers grips? I want to swap a couple of pairs of grips around on new pliers.

Really hot water makes it a lot easier.

Yes. And you might try applying some hair spray for reinstall. Helps them slide on when wet, and then provides some mild glue effect. Works well for mountain bike grips.Really hot water makes it a lot easier.

After the hot water bath, try blowing some compressed air into the grips to push them off
Used to do that with my KTM grips when changing them. Poke a hole in the end of the grip and get the blow gun a tight seal. Balloons right up and easy to slide off.After the hot water bath, try blowing some compressed air into the grips to push them off
