I'm assuming that the black plastic "Snap-On" emblem-type plugs are removed to reveal some bolts/ screws that need to be taken out to remove the side handle? Or there's a different method?

Thank you Everyone.

What you do is remove the "Snap-on" plugs from the handle and then take a 3/16" hex socket or Allen key to remove the bolts.

The bolts are 1/4"-20 threads with 3/16" Allen heads.

I started to remove one of them, but stopped, as my impression is if you're not careful, patient, or use the wrong tool(s), you could damage those little Snap-On emblems. Once they're removed, you can simply rubber cement them back in place or?

Thanks guys.

Those little emblems are toast after you remove them; there's no other way. They're not meant to be reused.

The most important thing to do is put oil on the bolts before screwing them in. But since somebody already put the handle on, it doesn't matter now.
