Repair or Replace 8 ton hydro cylinder on engine lift

Have a nice Torin Big Red engine crane. The 8 ton cylinder is leaking down slow under load. I can replace it for under $100, either with a replacement Torin or an HF air assist unit. I suspect it's wore out, having been in use over 20 years. Could be leaking past the bleed down valve, but not sure these things have any replaceable parts, being built to a price point.

I have the HF air assist hyd jack. Changed a couple of dump truck tires last week and the air assist is nice. Didn't even think about replacing the jack on the cherry picked until your post, but that would be nice. I thing I'll put that on the list.
