Repaired tools

Does anyone else have repaired tools in their collection? I have several other just no pictures right now.

Sure do!
Along the lines of your pictured repair, I repaired this 1/2" drive Craftsman ratchet for a forum member years ago. His selector had the bulge snapped off. I fashioned a new bulge with 2 part epoxy and ground it to shape. One of my best repairs I think.
EDIT: Somehow the order of the pics gets rearranged but hopefully you guys can decipher the steps from start to finish.

Acquired some Dunlap ratcheting wrenches, one was stiff and another was pretty tight. Took them apart, discovered how the inner workings were, then reassembled with SS nuts and bolts. They ever get gunked up and stiff again it's easy peazy to clean and lube.

Acquired this bare Granco ratchet handle from Epstein's - missing the gear assemble. Made one out of bits and bobs, works great, one of my go-to ratchets.

Got a couple broken, repaired then re-broken wrenches that my grandpa picked from an auction.

I bought this perfect handle screwdriver on Saturday. It seems to have been shortened and welded back together at some point in its life. It seems like a decent repair but it’s hard to understand why it was done in the first place.

Someone needed a real brute of a screwdriver with a short working length. That size PH, with its square shaft, is great for putting a wrench on, so it doesn’t surprise me to see it. So well executed does surprise me. Nice grab.

Not a repair but a clever modification to make a minimal offset 5/8” wrench from a 3727 Herbrand Multiplex.
