Repairing a Plomb ratchet

I have an older Plomb 1/4"ratchet that belonged to my grandfather. It slips in reverse. Is it possible to use the newer Proto kits to rebuild it.

If it has the same model # as the Proto, you should be good to go.

Proto guts are identical to Plomb.

Should dug in a little more. It does look like the Proto kit will work. I tore it apart this evening and it looks like spring is shot. I'll go to Graingers in the morning and order one.
