Repairing a Starett 91-b?

I was tapping some 1/2" holes with my Starett 91-b and the movable jaw split down the center of the "v". In hindsight, this tap wrench was problibly a little light for this job, but I didn't abuse the tool in any way.

I contacted Starett, and was given a price for a new plunger and a new pin, but the Starett rep said "he didn't have any instructions for this gage". I informed him that this is a current production tap wrench, and not a gage- I haven't herd back.
I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to replace the movable jaw, as the parts are about $10 rather then the $75 for a new one.

Do you by any chance have the part # for the replacement anvil?

I have a model 91b that cracked many years ago as well but was told by my local tool supplier that parts were not available, and I didn't verify by contacting Starrett. I have one that is only a couple of years old that I use but would like to repair my other one so I can use it as well.

I was quoted a plunger 03339-0 $6.07 ea, and a pin 03343-0 $3.61 ea.
I'm just not sure how to remove the retaining pin. I'm guessing it's pressed in, I'm hoping some adapted needle nose pliers will be able to pull it out.

Thanks for the information.

I haven't played with mine to see how it comes apart, I may have to do that when I get time.

Thanks again for the information.
