Repairing an aluminium door?

I have a standard aluminium garage door , that a few of the hinge bolt holes have stripped out. It looks like I would need a 5/16 by 1/2 bolt,which I cannot find. Is there an insert that would fit into the holes? Or???????

get a 5/16x1 and cut it down

You should try using washers probably.
