Repeatable Hose Length Cutter

Hi Guys, I'm looking for some advice. I have a bunch of EFI fuel hose to cut and am wondering what will work best. The hoses all need to be exactly 1.5" long. Right now I am measuring and using a hand hose cutter, but it is very time consuming. Ideally I would like to mount something on a bench (like an ATD 901) and have an adjustable stop so I can set it to whatever length I need.

If you know of something please let me know
Thank you in advance.

So why not mount an ATD 901 to your bench and put a C clamp 1.5" away from it?

As in get the ATD, mount it, and then somehow mount the adjustable end of the clamp 1.5" away. That definitely could work. Maybe a touch cruder than I was looking for.

I was thinking sort of the same thing but some sort of adjustable slide with locking screws, I can't think of what to call that though.
Thanks for the reply!

Well, less crude would be to clamp a block of wood 1.5" away as a stop.

But hey, let's see if the GJ hive mind can find something better. I know there are hose saw machines for hydraulic shops that do exactly what you want, but probably not at a price you want.

When you say "a bunch" are we talking carton, car load, truck load, or what?

This is made for wire, but looks to me like what you're looking for:

The foot operated one could definitely speed you up.

If you're the type to fabricate things, you could cross drill the bench half of the ATD 901 (or any benchtop hose cutter), run a piece of all-thread through it with a nut on each side, and use that to hold your stop block in place. That should actually be pretty simple. Mount the cutter at the end of the bench, so the off-cuts fall into a box and you're off to the races.

Could always buy this and mount it to your bench. It has a built in hose cutter. Use a 1-1/2" block of wood for your length.

when I need to do a bulk amount,I bundle several tubes, hoses etc with tyeraps,or cheap electrical tape and cut with an abrasive blade on chop saw.
You can set the guide as a stop so its repeatable.
A bundle of 5 means youre cutting 5 pieces at a time,
goes very quickly once you get the hang of it.

Yeah this definitely gives me a few options for sure. I like the last one. Sort of set it and forget it, with a little modification.

I am talking a carton full, so I don't want to break the bank, I just want repeatable cuts and don't want to be busy doing it all day.

EDIT: I'm looking at that eraser company as well, I like what I see from them too.

I do like this idea, I think I could definitely make this work. It sounds like this is for push lock type connections? Thats literally what I'm doing, and I should be able to use the connection end with some modification as well.

I made up hundreds or perhaps over a thousand of window screen frames in my days , often 30,40, or 50 of the same size .
a miter saw with a aluminum cutting blade, some 1x6 pine with a backstop , a block of wood & a c clamp to set the length. nothing fancy but it worked perfectly and cost all of a few bucks not including the blade

I mean that isn't that much imo. I'd just keep doing what you're doing
