I need to replace an electric water heater. I will come out the top with dielectric fittings and sweat some 90's to head toward the supply lines. Can I sue pex for the outgoing hot and supply cold lines. It would be an easy connection with some pex to the present copper utilizing sharkbite fittings. I may be a little tight for an 18" flexible copper connection. thanks

In America anyone can sue anybody for anything.

How did we go from a simple DIY water heater install........to getting sued ???????

Simple spell check accident. OP no doubt meant to type in “use” and the letters got switched around.
