Hi my friend had a flood and his Air Conditioner power chord got wet. He dried it out and plugged it into the wall and the unit would not power on. He let it dry for a few more days and then he plugged it in to the wall and it powered up but after a few seconds it shuts down.
He showed it to me and I opened the cover to expose the circuit board on the power chord and I could see the entire circuit board got wet.
Below is a pic of the board and also the specs on the AC unit.

I was wondering if I could replace the chord with this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/AIR-CONDITI...152?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5420c43020
The specs show the ebay chord is for a unit that is 1200 watts, and the air conditioner used 1110 wats, so not sure if that is close enough to call a match or not? Any info is appreciated!
