I decided to remove an old shed and build a new one.

We poured the pad on May 3rd, I started framing it on the 15th. Got the doors done today except for a latch. All I have to do is build a loft and paint it.

The door frames are made from 1x2 channel, I'm new at TIG welding so it was a good time to practice. The shed is 10x20x10'.

Nice shed.

The pad looks like it has a L-shape return to the house. Are you adding a door from the house (garage?) to the shed?

Can you share some closer up pictures of the doors? I need to make a gate for the garden.

Looks great. I hope you did not have to pay current prices to build that, but you can't help it if you need the space.

When we poured the original pad I just ran it over to the house so I could store stuff there. Here's a picture of the frame, I just noticed I missed a couple welds on one of the cross braces. Another senior moment.

I just paid the high prices, I did get most of the material from a local company who I believe receives their lumber from Canada and is a order only company so they don't have any inventory on hand. This saved us around $600. I also paid to have trusses made.
