I have floodlights at either rear corner of my house to light up the back yard.
They are the rectangular fixtures with T3 hologen tubes/bulbs. I have quartz 500 w GE bulbs in them. I don't know the lumen rating of the bulbs.
I installed these fixtures 30+ years ago and they are so corroded and rusty every time I take the glass retainer off to change a bulb I think they may fall apart.
My question is, what kind of LED floodlight would make a good replacement? It wouid be nice if it would mount to a standard electrical box too.
Thanks for taking a look and I'd appreciate any suggestions you'd like to make.

We replaced those Halogen bulbs with LED replacements on some work lights on a fire engine, so if you like those fixtures they are inexpensive to replace.

Those type of hallogen tube lights are terrible. They always have a poor connection.

I used plain old screw in lights with LED bulbs. Cheap, bulb easy to change if i never need to.
