Idrive opener installed 11 years ago finally crapped out. It was used because of ceiling height of 7'-11 1/2" and door clearance of only 2" at high opening point. Looking at install video of Liftmaster 8500 on Youtube I'm not sure it will work and ceiling joists run perpendicular to door rails so tunnel or trough isn't an option. Is there an opener that will work given these conditions? Thanks in advance for any help with this.
