Replacement for Rheem Gas-Pack HVAC Unit?

What size unit to be looking for to replace a Rheem Gas-Pack HVAC Unit?
It's a Rheem model RRDA-A042JK10E, Option 589, Mfg 1/2003.
I went to the Rheem web site and couldn't find any info on the unit.
Can anyone tell me what kind(size) unit to look for in a Rheem (if they're still available) or other brand unit?
The existing unit is about 13-14 years old and went thru a flood 4-5 years ago. After replacing all the underfloor ducting and cleaning the unit up the repairman got it going again. A couple of years ago the heat went out and the repairman got it fixed but warned that it would be a good idea to start saving up for a new unit.
I'd appreciate any recommendations on what replacement to look for.
Thanks,

The existing one does a good job of heating and cooling. Just looking for advice on exactly what I've got and recommendations on manufacturers if Rheem no longer makes them.
Thanks
PS Don't know the area right off hand. Just a pretty much standard 3 BR, 2 BA, LR, DR, Kiichen.

Most of the manufacturers now have package units in the spec you are looking for. Trane, Carrier, etc.

Daikin is making a huge push in the industry, but its just a goodman brand unit with a different name on it. Buyer beware.

Glad you brought up question of manufacturers. Would you care to recommend one? I'd probably go back with a Rheem. Surprised I couldn't find any gas-packs on their web site. I'll look aroud some more. Used to think quite a bit of Carrier but seems like they've kind of downhill in the last 10 years or so. Are there any recognized leaders in the area of gas packs?
Thanks for the replies.

There's only so many actual manufacturers out there, even big brand names have outsourced lots of manufacturing over the years.

Yeah, I understand that but I'd like to try to avoid manufacturers like Daikin/Goodman as milesvdustin says.
Thanks

There's nothing g wrong with goodman equipt, they've come a long ways since the Jani junk/ junk itrol days.
I've had just as many issues over the years if not more as a mechanical contractor with trane wreck/ Lennox and carrier as I ever have with goodman stuff.
Back in the 90s I used to sell a lot of ducane equipment, they also made a lot of furnaces for lennox.
Their condensers were made by coleman/evcon who made a lot of stuff for a lot of companies.
Amy way lennox ended up buying them out and running the co in to the ground before gutting all the good stuff from the co and selling them back off to somebody else.
There's only so many many manufactures of gas valves/inducer motors/limit switches/blower motors /compressors/contactors.....,you're paying for the packaging that all the parts are connected to.
So like I said, don't bet all your money strictly on a ,look at how things are actually built and what kind of warranty they offer.

I say worry less about brand names and more about warranty and availability of parts/service locally.

The companies i see installing the low end equipment also provide low end installation quality and service. Thats the main reason to steer clear imo.

I have to say , I service more Goodman equipment less than 6 yrs old than anything else up here. I won't put one in period , unless cust wants one.
Goodman might be ok in areas that don't have a high heating demand but up here they are used hard and goodman doesn't cut it.
Goodman/Amanda same company .
I handle Rheem and have for the last 22 yrs , very few issues .

Ive seen plenty of contractors selling big name equipment over the years that shouldn't be doing filter replacements ,let alone equipment change outs.
There's plenty of good high end installers out there selling goodman equipment.
But by all means if you like paying for a name do what ever makes you happy.

We get plenty of calls for heating here in nebraska also, there's plenty of 20 plus year goodman equipment running around here.
There's nothing wrong with rheem equipment either.
I was a rhuud/rheem/weather king dealer for a few years before retiring.

Everyone has an uncle that smokes two packs a day and drinks a whole bottle of whiskey and lives til hes 95, too.

I dont buy name brand to make me happy, i buy quality. The company i work for refuses to sell goodman, arcoaire, etc for good reason.

Everybody sells/ installs what they want, that's how the world works.
There's a reason I don't sell trane wreck also, its all those heat exchangers on the old 80% furnaces they built back in the 80s-90s that cracked in the same spot because of a junk *** design. I warranteed out a couple hundred of them over years.
I won't sell lennox because you need a service van full of parts just to cover all the differant stinking g series furnaces.
And anything bigger than a stinking pressure switch has to come out of marshal town iowa.
I won't sell carrier because of there junk *** leaking A coils and their over all cheaply built equipment.
So like I said you or your boss can sell what ever you want, but save your bs about goodman for somebody who didn't spend 30 years in the trades.;)

If it was bs I would save it, but its not, so.....................

Anyways OP, I would call around and gauge prices from different companies. You should be able to get a ballpark price and warranty info to help you start deciding! Good time of year to buy, most companies are slow so they are willing to deal on pricing. 3-500 off isnt out of the question.
