Replacement “Grip latch” rivets for Craftsman Pro Tool Chest

I had a shop fire last year that burnt up quite a bit of stuff… I was paid out by insurance but I want to keep the stainless Craftsman Professional tool chest as it has sentimental value. I bought it with money I got from a patent award at work and I’m proud of it. The soot on the stainless is cleaning up with oven cleaner ok, followed by some stainless cleaner but the painted/powdercoated latches have the coating peeling off. I want to take off the latches, get them stripped and re-powder coated but I don’t know what do to about the rivets holding them on. Does anyone know where I could get replacement rivets before I start drilling them all out?

Do you have a close up of the latch in question? They're either tubular rivets or pop rivets.

Yeah I think that’s what I’m going to end up with. I removed a rivet and it appears to be metric. The body is 15mm long by 6mm thick. There’s a step down on the end (past 15mm) which goes through the hole of the shelf and flares out, holding the rest of the shoulder on the outside to act as a bushing/spring retainer. Here’s what I decided on for a solution:
