I have these screwdrivers by Husky that are 4.5” or less and 1/8” quoted blade size (actual size slightly larger) and smaller for the other one. Stubby screwdrivers are easy to find but usually the blade is too short compared to these. These are awesome for working in tight spaces on a motorcycle (adjusting a carb or something).

Small handles are ok as I have small hands.
Looking for top quality.
Flat head top priority.
Also note that I’m ideally looking for metric screwdrivers.
A few more sizes would be welcome.
Blade strength is important. I have precision screwdrivers that are too flimsy for these needs.

I don't think anyone makes more varieties of miniature screwdrivers than Wiha. Quality is among the best. May be too long for your needs.

I looked at the catalog for PB Swiws, Wera, and Wiha. I can't find anything but long or stubby for most of them. PB Swiss also has short blad screwdrivers but even their short blade screwdrivers are 1.5" longer than what I have in my screwdriver. Williams USA makes screwdrivers that look almost identical, FYI, but they're all fractional sizes. I prefer metric as I work on a metric truck and bikes.

Micro Mark seems to have mostly the skinny "precision" screwdrivers that are great on small electronics, but not as great for use on a carburator or motorcycle.

if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

FYI, those probably came as a part of a larger set of matching screw drivers, and are still available at home depot via husky at most locations. hard plastic handles are still us made even for the most part.

Metric, and motorcycle? Japanese?

if you are not aware of JIS screwdrivers you are in for a treat when you start using them on the "phillips" like fasteners.

Vessel megadora is my favorite.

-Yes, JIS is no longer the standard, but older bikes were JIS.

Hey yeah I have some JIS bits and actually ordered a set of Vessel drivers before posting this thread (en route from Japan now). I chose the ones with the full tang although I’m not sure I’ll be hammering, should be pretty durable. Maybe excessive... I got cross tips in 1, 2 in 2 lengths, and a 3.

1/8” is 3.17mm and by my measurements the flathead in question is slightly larger than 1/8. Therefore I estimate I’m looking for a 3.5mm flathead with OAL about 110mm and blade length about 50-60mm.

As far as the if it ain’t broke thing, my favorite husky size does have a chipped tip.
