Anybody know if it's possible to get parts for this old Harbor Freight/Pittsburgh 4 ton floor jack? Someone other than me was careless and broke the u-joint. (Ignore that black rubber piece, used it to keep "handle" out of the way for the picture.)

I dunno about a HF specific part, but I bought a universal joint off Amazon a few years back to fix mine.

Just measure input and output shaft diameters, and overall lengths, and poke about til you find one.

Er, to remove the part I have circled, does it simply unscrew?

Actually, brain cramp. There were cross drilled holes in each shaft, and this pins shown next to it slid thru, and then the rings held them in place. This was after it slid, not screwed, onto the shaft. Original thought was it was a hex shaft, so slip was possible.

I did remove the handle completely to make the job much easier.

Alrighty, I'll try and get better access to the area, figure out how it mates to the cylinder and take it from there, thanks!

(In the meantime, searching for parts (found 3.5 ton cylinder assemblies, but no 4 ton rated) led me to discover that Amazon sells 4 ton jacks in the "HF" price range, so that might be a more feasible option.)
