Replacement Service Door Weather Stripping

The OEM weather stripping on the door was falling apart, I bought some new stuff that had a magnetic strip that would stick to the metal door to seal it. It seemed like a good idea. Problem is the saw kerf in the door jamb was way wider than the piece on the stripping that was supposed to go into it. I used some caulking in the groove and then stuck the weather stripping in the groove in the door jamb. It kinda worked, but with the cold this winter the weather stripping has pulled out of the door jamb. The magnet holds it to the door and pulls it from the jamb when you open the door. Where can I get some weather stripping that is similar to the OEM stuff? Everything I've looked at is too thin and it doesn't fit/stay in the groove in the door jamb...?

Thanks!

I run into this on occasion . I use latex caulking on the fin of the weatherstrip, insert it into the kerf & then narrow crown staples thru the jamb every 5 or 6 " to hold the weatherstrip in the kerf

Thanks guys...I'll have to check HD again and see if I can find that stuff...that looks similar to what I had taken out.

Never thought of stapling it in either...that'd work too.
