Hey there everyone,

Anybody have a suggestion for DeWalt 18v XRP batteries. I need two or more. I'm open to aftermarket also. I have 5 batteries that are now toast after 10 years of use.

Thanks you

Connecticut - not sure why though...
I recently bought a 4 pack off ebay for 130 shipped, but it was a blow out, guy normally lists them for a little more.

It's also worth noting that these are actually dewalt branded batteries, not blank yellow and black or black cases, like alot of the ones you see on ebay.

edit: seller name is "heltontool" I piad exactly $127.46 with free shipping. have been using them for about 3 months with no complaints.

I had some rebuilt by my local Interstate Batteries for a little less than half of replacement costs. Include a 1 year warranty

Someone told be that dewalt/black and decker will sell just the batteries that go inside for a little less and all you have tp do is open your battery case and swap them out.
Anyone know if this is true?
I know I saw someone selling the bare batteries on eBay

Just make sure the batteries already have the tabs on them, otherwise they are a PITA to solder together.

Pretty sure that all the DeWalt XRP (NiCad / NiMH) batteries use the sub C type cells. Readily available from electronic and battery stores.
