I have a Task Force box which 'm very happy with that I use for my tool overflow. The weight of the box is app. 150#'s and the load it will carry probably won't come close to that. I was looking at casters that had a 125# limit ea. and the price was right. That would give me a 500# limit total so it appears that they will work for me. I only move my boxes to clean etc. so it's not like they'll be wheeled around often. Any thoughts on this?

The casters that came with ther box leave a lot to be desired and only 2 swivel. I want all the casters to swivel........

Sounds like you got is sorted Crow. Either would work, but more important (almost) than load for me is wheel diameter:; the larger it is, the easier it rolls...

If you are putting different casters on, put 5 x2 if not 6x2, like Outlaw said, bigger rolls easier. Maybe over kill but I like greasable casters. Unless your main motivation is all four swivel, different casters are probably not going to do much. If it don't move much the stock castor should be find for would I'm think is a cheaper box. My first rollaway, a red drawer basic craftsman had 3x1 casters, the bottom of the box collapsed before the casters ever gave out.

That's exactly what I did. I pulled the trigger and ordered 5" Faultless swivel casters w/brake. I should be good to go now. The original casters were a shade under 3".....

I had 4 swivel casters on a cart of similar size to a tool box and it was annoying to move any distance more than a few feet.

I can see that if all 4 casters swiveled it might be difficult to control. In my case, I'll need to move my boxes only a couple of feet so it won't be an issue for me....

My new tool carts from HD are 6x2 and 2 swivel, 2 lock. This is easier to steer, no bull..lol
