Ever replaced the rubber seal at the bottom of your garage door ?

We had "critters" chew thru it (chipmunks)

got rid of the problem, but I've never tried replacing that before

tips ?

The big box store - Orange or Blue - carries replacement seals. Very easy DIY job.

Easier if you have a helper. One person guides the rubber into the track while the other person pulls it across.

Some of the w/s is manufacture specific! Unfortunately HD or lowes won't carry it. Cut off a couple inches to take with you and make sure you duplicate exactly! Don't let them tell you..It's a little bigger but it will work..It wont!!

I'm not sure what the Box stores carry, I buy my supplies from a Door Co.
+1 on a helper! Extra hand makes all the difference..Good luck

i went to my door supplier and the seal was only $25 for my 12' shop door. I did mine myself but a helper to "feed" it at the start would have saved a few steps back and forth on my part!
