Any experiences with replacing the galvanized pipe on a Woodford (or any brand really) yard hydrant? I picked three used hydrants on FB marketplace, in good shape but need to rebuild the guts before installing and guessing they were in the ground 10+ years at this point. Looking at the galvanized standpipe and they are pretty rusty and pitted, contemplating replacing the pipe as a precaution as I have no idea how rusted the inside of the pipe might be. Appreciate any feedback or experiences, thanks.
