Hey guys, I tried search but didn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone know a good resource for replacing the fixed wheels with spinning wheels on the 5 drawer HF cart? I looked in HF but the bolt base plate was too small on the 5" wheels.

Thanks,
Brian

Get your lift kit wheels there at HF.....just drill some new holes, maybe some reinforcement if they end up too far towards the middle and flex a bit. Use one existing hole as a start to mark where the new holes end up to keep things square. If the new ones foul the thin plate that's welded to the bottom, ask Mr. angle grinder to cut four reliefs and pound them flat. The new wheels will fit if you started from a common point (existing mount hole) and measured accurately. If you are squeamish about the cuts, make some spacers that will elevate the wheel base plate to where they clear the factory reinforcement. I put 8 inchers on mine, mirroring the original 2-fixed, 2 casters plus foot brakes. All-Terrain Tool Cart.

.....yes, it's way heavier, but I count this as a plus seeing that it effectively lowers the CG at bit on a rig that's already tall.
