I’ve not been able to determine the make/ model of my third hand. 4.375 jaws, 3 1/4 throat, 4” open. Only mark on it is large #4 on both sides of the movable jaw. Researched the Vintage Vice spreadsheet. Only Athol Starret has a 4.375 jaw width, but it’s not one of those. Looks like original finish was machine grey. If there are any markings under the swivel base they are not accessible as I welded it to well casing decades ago. I beat on this vice every day and it has taken everything w/o complaint.
Any ideas appreciated.

Tried to retire but the phone keeps ringing. Working from home now. Working on a new website. Nobody has much stock inventory and I was ordering everything anyway so it seemed logical to just work out of the house. Still selling metal buildings also.

Based on the chrome plating on the handle and the big 4 cast into the front jaw support tower,
I would say with some certainty that it was made in Asia and sold to any one of a number of retailers who put their own stickers on them. If it works well enough for you, just use it and be happy. It’s not a high value vise sought after by collectors.
