Son moved into a new house and this was in the back yard. Nobody wanted it including the previous owner so I took it home along with two sets of the lockers in the background.

I saw one similar to that at an antique store yesterday.
Way worse condition than that for either 275.00 or 375.00.

The plan is to restore it. It's in fair shape with a few small dents here and there. Going to try to clean off the rattle can black as the original blue is underneath. The raised logo has no dents in it. Now I need to find the coin mech, inside rails and a cap catcher. In one of those," I wonder" moments, I plugged it in. It cools down amazingly fast.

Wow, it still works?! Were things like this powder coated in those days? Did it even exist or just heavy lead paint? I'm wondering if you could use steel wool or a solvent to get the spray paint then color sand and polish the original blue?

WTF - doesn't anyone around there watch American Pickers or American Restoration?

I'm a Pepsi guy so I'd be all over that thing . . . . if it was free . . .

And to find it actually works - YOU **** . . .

It looks like the chilled water type with the bath and rails inside? Insert your dime and the gate would open allowing one bottle out. Us naughty type might use a bottle opener and a straw to sneak a drink. I said might!

Doesn't appear to be a water bath, no drain hole. Pop for a dime, those were the days.
