I bought a new garage that has 3 doors, all with openers.

I bought a few 890 Max keychain remotes with 3 buttons and programmed them to open each door.

Somehow one of the remotes ended up that any button opens all 3 doors at the same time. Not what I had intended.

I read up and LiftMaster suggests that I reset the door opener and start again. But I have 5 or 6 remotes and do not want to go through the hassle of 3 openers, with 6 remotes......

I tried taking the battery out of the remote in question but it still opens all the doors with any button.

Anyone have a suggestion to reset the remote back to factory default?

Good luck with your 890 Max. One I bought would open doors randomly even after resetting and reprogramming the whole system. If your doors start opening by themselves start pulling batteries to find which one is doing it. They generally operate OK but if there are problems like this suspect them first.

I have used the 890 Max on a couple of garages now with good luck.

One my son was using fell down and wedged onto the exhaust on his motorbike. It was half melted and still worked.

I guess I do only need to reset 2 doors!

I had a similar problem with two door closing with either button. Open door and hold the learn button until it stops flashing. Unplug power from wall. Preform this to each unit. Then one at a time learn each remote but be sure only the unit your paring is plugged into power. Disconnect after each paring until each unit is pared. Then plug them all in and you should be good.
