A relative has asked me to assist in removing/replacing some tongue & groove (redwood?) siding on an enclosed patio. It's pretty rotted out in spots.
He *may* have the roofing contractor do this part as well and then it's a non-issue to me but I'm thinking it's going to be a DIY.
Simple 2x4 framing, no insulation or inside wall coverings. I'm thinking just a bead of caulk on the 2x4's and then nailing? Seems kind of shoddy but it's not a high-end room.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
