Resilia Floor Tiles

I'm redoing my garage and after a lot of research I decided to go with Resilia Floor Tiles . They are flexible PVC, seal along the joints to prevent spills from getting under and don't have the hard plastic look and clickity-clackity sound as you walk on them (like Racedeck and Kiwi). So far I love em. Have some cabinets, a new work bench and a lift coming in the next few weeks.

2 Questions for ya:
- How do they stand up to mechanical stresses (jacks and trestles/jackstands), and caustic garage liquids?
- Does the "garage Elf" come with the tiles

Jacks and jackstands with flat round feet (like AC) are no problem. Sharp edges will dig in. Sorry no elf with the tiles...... I've heard it's hard to find one that will actually help like mine....Damn I'm lucky Here's a chart from their website on chemical resistance. Tile Specs

Haha, thanks! Those cars have pretty distinctive shapes, even through the covers, plus I did notice the P-car in your avatar. Very nice set of cars, btw. You're a very lucky guy. How do you like the TT?

Love the TT. If it shifted as smooth and fast as the S2000 it would be damn near perfect. Now I'll be forced to supercharge the S2000 ..... too bad

Yeah, those S2Ks shift like a hot knife through butter. They definitely could use some torque, so I guess you just have NO choice but to slap on an SC. Life's rough, ain't it? LOL!

Is there any dickering with these guys on price? I got my samples the other day and love them, it's exactly what I plan on using in my new house's garage, but man, they bankrupt you on the cost of those things! Thank goodness if I move I can take them with me.

No dickering that I know of...the price does drop per tile with larger orders.
I call her my elf and she doesn't mind...she's not quite 5' tall!

Is there any dickering with these guys on price? I got my samples the other day and love them, it's exactly what I plan on using in my new house's garage, but man, they bankrupt you on the cost of those things! Thank goodness if I move I can take them with me.

What can I expect to pay per sq. ft.? Is it costlier than Racedeck?

According to their website $3.65 per tile.

While I still love this stuff, I'm going to seriously have to think about using it. I'm looking at doing a 3.5 stall garage and that's not cheap.

How do you handle water/snow on the floor?

I have a couple samples that I put on the floor when i washed my car and it was not slippery at all. I felt it had excellent grip for having standing water on them, plus it was water tight. I'm planning long term to do one of my garages in this stuff.

Not to highjack, but I found another vendor out there who was closer to where I lived (thus lower freight costs) that had a less expensive tile that looks very similar. The key for this type of (expensive tile) is to shop around thoroughly, you can find it cheaper.

Just curious if anyone else out there has had this issue with their 'Resilia' Floor Tiles (floorsurfaces.com) After about a year dirt started 'sticking' to just the center of the tiles. It takes a lot of elbow grease to get it off but its kind of not worth doing this every year.

Yikees that has me a little nervous. Was serious counting up the cash right before I saw your photo. I would show it to the company and see what they say.

yep... in fact i sent them back two of the tiles... They want to know exactly what it is. I reported the issue to them back in january and its still going on. Getting frustrated now and just want my money back so I dont have to deal with the company anymore.
