Not in but out front of the Resistentialism Garage, I did an oil change on the SportWagen tonight.
Pulling my 14' Crestliner aluminum home on Sunday we got a low oil notice on the dash. I pulled over and sure as **** we were low on oil. Went I turned the car back on, the warning went away so I decided to keep on heading for home because I knew we were close and I had oil in the shop.
We got home without another problem. I ended up, after a precarious position with a jack stand, deciding to buy another floor jack and put the oil change on hold until I got home from work today. Changed the oil, zip tied a busted up splash guard under the car until I can get a replacement, and gave the engine bay a quick wipe down. All in all four hours or so of work and contemplation, because I was tired from my actual paid job and not getting paid to do maintenance on my own vehicles lol.
No pics tonight because oily hands and smartphones don't mix.
Up next (probably not until Thursday) I need to replace the rear seat of the Crestliner and power wash the scum off the bottom before I take it back to the lake.
