An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
I've been going back and forth in regards to buying a pair of Redback boots because many reported they could not get them resoled. I typically have my quality reboots resoled once or twice until the uppers die. Well I am ordering a pair of Outbacks because I now know where to get them resoled.

Anyone here use this place before?

Nope, but it would be worth a shot. I've been wearing the Australian boots for years and have on a pair of Rossi now. You used to could get them direct from Autralia for not much more that that, if any, but I think those days are gone.

+1 on Rossi boots. I used to wear Blunnies, back when they were Australian made, but when I found Rossi's in the mid 90s I've never looked back. Rossi's fit my food better and they're nearly indestructible. For the wear I get out of them resoling isn't really an issue -- and with a molded sole it's not really possible either. I beat the **** out of them for five years or so then get a new pair. I have two going now, one my really-dirty-job pair and my other not-too-bad-job pair, both steel toes.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would update. When you google "resoling redback boots" this thread is the second result!

I am sending my old pair off tomorrow for a resole. I bought a new pair but the difference in my 3 year old pair and new pair is like night and day. I guess I am like a crazy ex GF... I just cant let go. I will let everyone know how it turns out.

Wow how time flies!!! I never sent my boots off, they sat in the box with all the paperwork for almost a year. Not sure what happened, It might have been a case of out of sight out of mind. Anyways that new pair i had been wearing started showing some serious wear and I decided to go ahead and have both pairs re-soled.

I have gotten both pairs back and I couldnt be happier, what is better than new Redbacks? How about "new" redbacks that are already broken in to your feet?

The new vibram sole they use is a little wider and seems softer than the O.E. sole. It really is more comfortable. I also have a pair of Snap-On boots that are their version of the redbacks and they come with a vibram sole also, it is very different, it is a very directional pattern and very hard.

If you have some redbacks that need new soles and the leather is in good shape I wouldnt hesitate to send those guys your boots.

Hello I’m looking to get a pair. I have a narrow foot size. How do they run ? Are they fit to size ? Or do they run slight larger or smaller ?
