I just picked up and put together my new wildfire lift, and after putting it up and down a bunch of times i noticed on one of the columns where the locks ride paint was chipping off, it wasn't excessive. But it was enough that i checked that the locks were working correctly, they were, but noticed upon a closer look that the paint was loose and not well adhered in spots, so much i was able to pull off 5-6" strips with a simple plastic scraper. The other posts were fine.

I want to give credit where credit is due, After talking with Wildfire today, they agree there was some problem with the powder coating on that post, and are sending out a replacement right to the house. Good job Wildfire!

Usually that issue is caused by the item getting sandblasted, then rusting before it gets paint/powder coat.
