Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Resto-Mod pole barn 24X40

We built this back in 2003 if I recall correctly.

The original intent was to raise Holstein calves, store hay, and a tractor. As my daughter got older we raised horses, they grew up, moved away, we went back to calves.

Over the years I have enclosed the front, divided off half for working on cars, added a 16x40 overhang to store more stuff.

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I cleared out the unfinished side to add a 12x20 slab. I will finish this off with a 8x20 room for a small machine shop for working on my cars, and the rest will be for calves.

Here are a few pictures of the journey. The concrete guys are outside still working on the slab. I am 60 and don't do concrete.

Just to the right of that blue tarp is the calf area. There is a 63 Fairline under the tarp.

almost done with tin, I need to add the last four feet of wall. I am going to get the clear panels up today since we may get snow this week.

My wife is repainting the inside, adding grey to the bottom 4 feet.

Soon brother, I have 4 acres so I’ve been busy. Working on a DRO for the mill currently.

We had hail a couple of months ago, it was the worst we had seen in 28 years of living in this house.

Every building got a new roof so we took the opportunity to change the color of the metal on my shop.
