Restored Fire House

Some Wisconsin GJ members may be familiar with this fire house in Door County. It's not mine but I would love to restore an old fire station. Have any members done that?

That's a cool old FH, saw it last summer up there.

There's a member in IA that has one right now.

Has that been built into the side of a hill ??? Covered over by earth ? Terradome style ?

Have any members done that?

I recall seeing a few here in the past. Would love to find one myself and have been watching one here and waiting for it to come up for sale but I believe now the government with sell it internally to another government dept .
