I am going to start of by saying I know screwed up and forgot to take 'before' pictures but the cart was pretty messed up. Bad enough that someone gave it to me for free lol. I figured though I would post the finished result and want I did, in case anyone else has one they are looking to bring back to life. I'm very happy with the way it came out.
First I totally dissembled it and used a hammer and dolly on the trays to remove the dents and dings. I then had those powder coated by a small shop by me. The legs I shined up using 0000 steel wool and Nixon metal polish, I am still amazed at how well they cleaned up. I masked off the Snap on badge and painted the border black to make it pop a little and replaced all the hardware with stainless fasteners. I drilled and tapped the wheels into the bottom of the legs because 2 were consistently falling out anytime I lifted it up. Finally I lined the trays with the Harbor Freight tool box liner (not pictured). All together I have about $65 into it
Thanks for checking it out guys.
