Restoring a BTS Simonsen cantilever toolbox.

Two arrived today. Decided to tackle the worst one first..

Drilled off the handle & the two rivets holding the larger half of the top to the trays...Did some more tin bashing.



There's a small crack by the end of one hinge, I'll weld that up.

Gettin' there, good work.

I have a Kennedy hip-roof box in good shape, I really don't have a current use for it. I probably could dedicate it for metric fasteners, or something, but a storage tote works as well for me, w/labelled baggies.
