A good buddy of mine is moving in to a new house Tuesday. I've been put in Charge of getting the garage in ship shape.

First order of business is the cement floor. It's got some serious issues which look to me like years of salt corrosion from the cars.

The entire garage floor is pockmarked. Some places are 1/2"-3/4" deep.

What's the best solution also keep in mind being the most cost effective?

We're looking for fairly smooth since he has deliveries on pallets once a week. Nothing terribly heavy, maybe 5-800#.

Demoing the floor and getting a cement company in to do it again isn't out of the question, but it's definitely last on the options list.

home garage getting pallets of 5-800 pounds each week? Sounds pretty rough to me.

the pock marks really don't help..else it would be a simple grind and epoxy. I would wait for one of the floor folks to respond, I know they have patching products for holes and cracks that will accept epoxy.

best of luck.
