I have both the Langs and Channellocks, they are the same except for blue vs orange. Got my Langs from Cripe.

I was going to order the Craftsman Professional ones next time they went on sale, but these are really tempting me at this price. The only thing that I see that would be nice with the Craftsman branded version is the ease of warranty.

It looks like the price is up to $20 on these. Sears has the Knipex on sale for about $20 if anyone needs them.

Go for the warranty! I've got a Channellock pair that's broken (an internal part central to the reversing mechanism broke), and they're now in my junk drawer.

The original version of this was less convenient to use (it had a pair of sliding pieces instead of that lever) but is pretty unbreakable.

I have the channellock branded ones. Just used them a few days ago to get at some delicate and very hard-to-reach snap rings on a Dumore grinder -- they are fantastic... better quality & easier to use than I expected.
